We have used our best efforts to make the Anthem family of products safe and user-friendly. Nevertheless, you need to be careful and cautious when using an Anthem product:
ANTHEM PRODUCTS ARE HIGH VOLTAGE DEVICES
You could suffer serious injury or death if you poke Anthem One, Anthem Power or other electrified Anthem products in the wrong place with hex keys, screwdrivers or other metallic objects. Before changing Anthem Light Card you must disconnect Anthem One from Anthem Power or Anthem Power Plus. PLEASE FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS – DO NOT CHANGE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS WITHOUT DISCONNECTING THEM FROM ANY AND ALL SOURCES OF ELECTRICITY!
DO NOT BLOCK THE FANS
Just like you, Anthem One needs to breathe. Blocking the ventilation holes around the device will cut off the flow of air. This may cause the heat sink to overheat and may burn out Anthem Light Card and Anthem One.INTENSE BEAMS OF LIGHT CAN HURT & BLIND YOU
Staring into any Anthem Light Card may cause temporary blindness. Staring into an infrared Light Card may cause permanent retinal damage. Long term skin exposure under an ultraviolet Light Card may cause skin burns.
Treat Anthem Light Cards like the sun; do not stare into the light. Do not point it at other people’s eyes. The intensity of the light beam may cause temporary or permanent damage.OPENING ANTHEM POWER PLUS VOIDS THE WARRANTY
Anthem Power Plus’ lithium-ion battery is incredibly safe, easy to use and easy to repair. However, only EvansWerks and its designated repair vendors are authorized to repair Anthem Power Plus. If a user attempts to repair Anthem Power Plus, the warranty is immediately void and they assume all liability that may arise from improperly attempting to repair the lithium-ion battery.COMMERCIAL AIRLINES & SHIPPING COMPANIES
have strict provisions regarding the shipment of lithium-ion batteries, often requiring lithium-ion batteries to be sent via ground shipping. EvansWerks is not responsible if you fail to follow their rules.FALLING OBJECTS CAN HURT
Our neo-dymium magnets are reliable. Nevertheless, attach a Kensington lock to Anthem One and a railing, grid or stand to ensure Anthem One cannot fall and hurt someone. Your toes, your noggin, and the A-List actors on your set will thank you.AVOID THE DARWIN AWARDS
Use common sense. Don’t poke electrical devices with pointy or metal things. If someone gleefully whispers “I wonder what this’ll do…” stop them. If you can’t, run for the hills. Do not taunt Anthem One. Anthem One, Anthem Power and Anthem Power Plus are professional grade tools. Like a lawn mower, chainsaw or microwave, carelessness can result in armlessness, headlessness or lifelessness. Don’t be stupid.
